For all types of fishing where the lowest stretch with the highest possible tensile strength and an optimally smooth surface (like a monofilament) are required - with silent top casting properties. Finest braiding in the multi-strand process from the highest quality peak micro UHMWPE fibers.

The "S" stands for extra "Smooth". And if you let these lines slide through your fingers, you will hardly be able to feel any difference to a monofilament in terms of surface smoothness. This is especially true for the "Silver Gray". The "yellow-green" is made from a newly modified fiber that has a significantly higher abrasion resistance than the "silver-grey" and therefore feels a little stiffer. In addition, the "yellow-green" has more reserves of breaking strain, so that the breaking strains specified here are often achieved even in well-tied knots. But in these areas, in our opinion, it is no longer so much a question of further increases in load capacity, but rather of the overall characteristics. Take a look and touch both cords and decide for yourself - it's certainly a matter of personal taste - but also a question of the area of ​​application. If higher abrasion resistance and/or best visibility (especially in the twilight) are required, the "yellow-green" should be used! Both cords are "purely braided" without a coating, which, as is well known, would roughen up or rub off after a short time and make the cords unusable. This smoothness is achieved through the use of extremely fine ULTRA-Peak UHMWPE fibers in combination with a braiding process in which the individual fibers are divided and braided into a significantly larger number of strands than was previously possible. This "multi-strand process" also increases the braiding angles. The fibers are bent slightly less than is the case with type R and type E - and this with the same roundness, compactness and internal strength. This results in somewhat higher tensile strengths for type S. And of course it is also possible to produce the spliced ​​loop with this even finer braiding, with which you can then fully exploit the high tensile strength. Unfortunately, the very fine UHMWPE fibers and the braiding process with many strands also come at a steep price. Nevertheless, this Type S will certainly be used when only the very best material is good enough.
