Cortland 444 Clear Camo Intermediate WF-Fly Line

Out of stock

The 444 Clear Camo Intermediate is made with a supple, crystal-clear intermediate coating over a mottled monofilament core. Slow sinking and virtually invisible to fish, it’s ideal for still or moving water.
The super-stealthy, clear camo color just disappears in the water and makes is the most popular stillwater fly line. The line is is build on a solid monofilament core while the outer material is custom dyed at their Cortland facility, and fused to a clear polymer coating formulated to perform in a wide range of temperatures. A short, head helps to quickly load your rod and shoot long casts, and dual welded loops make changing line and leaders extremely convenient. The slow sink rate of less than 2 inches per second keeps the fly in the fish strike zone longer than other line. That is particularly important in those lake situations where most of the fish feed at less than 2 meter below the surface.
