In our search for the best materials possible we found a fantastic source for small, selected ostrich body feathers – the best we have seen. They are perfect for hackling big and medium flies and ideal for all kinds of butterfly style flies. Most are perfect the way they are, and some will be after a bit of steam. We doubt there are any hackles that will swim the way good ostrich hackles do.
