The OPST intruder shanks are ideal for tying anything from small, articulated leeches and streamers to large steelhead and salmon patterns.

OPST’s Steelhead Shanks have a slim shank right and they fit all standard sized beads and cones.

The Shanks come in three popular sizes to cover most trailer-hook flies for steelhead and salmon. The 32 and 51 mm cover most popular steelhead and salmon patterns, and the extra-long 75 mm is good for larger flies for species like king salmon and Huchen.

The shanks also have pre-rounded ends that won’t damage your thread when tying intruder style patterns.
