Stroft Cutter Ring for Stroft Tippet Spool System

These rings have cutter blades, which provide a smooth even cut on every line, no matter how thick or tough, even braid can be easily cut to the precise length. The blades are made in Solingen (Germany) from high-alloy stainless steel and are coated with gold-colored titanium nitride to increase durability. The blades have very long service life (several hundred cuts), but can be replaced easily, if nesessary.

The cutter rings can be labeled and inscribed at the outer edge using the attached self-adhesive labels in different colors. Labeling is especially useful when several spools sit on a spool holder. The information such as line type, diameter, etc. is clearly visible on the outer edge without having to remove the spools. The cutter rings turn and snap on the spools easily and they are just as easy to remove, making the cutter rings reusable. When a leader spool is emty it's easy to remove the cutter ring and as the case may be the locking ring and fit it on a new spool.
