Fitted seamlessly into the compact body of the SLX DC is Shimano’s exclusive i-DC4 Digital Control. The modes include Mode 1 designed to achieve maximum distance (least amount of magnetic braking). Once set, the onboard microcomputer, which is self-powered by generating its own electricity, does all of the work, leaving you to take aim and cast.
