Vision Taimen Hucho Deluxe Doublehand Fly Rod

The brand new Vision Taimen Deluxe rods are the perfect two-handed rods for Hucho / Taimen fishing with the fly.
These rods have been developed and tested extensively by Vision in cooperation with the Austrian Vision World Team members during the last season.
Like the previous model, the Vision Taimen Deluxe has a fast action to make it easier to set the hook and to get more pressure on the fish when you are fighting a massive Hucho. In addition the 12'2 long Vision Taimen rods make it easier to cast large and heavy streamers, which are often used for this big predator.
These very successful Taimen rods are equipped with high quality Titanium-Flex guides and snakes to make de-icing easier in wintertime. In addition, the flexible guides offer a certain amount of protection if a branch is accidentally hit when casting under trees. The premium quality cork handle makes the rod comfortable and light in the hand. The un-sanded blank is also very nice and crisp with a deep loading action.

For deep loading during casting, the manufacturer recommends the Vision TNT shooting heads, Vision Hammer Skagit heads and Vision Hybrid lines. The TNT heads are great for the heaviest streamers and overhead casts, the Skagit heads are recommended for casting slightly lighter streamers and casting in Skagit-style and the Vision Hybrid line is mainly used for fishing with top water lures like mice.

As a special feature there are length markings on the blanks at 110, 120 and 130 cm, measured from the end of the handle, to ensure a quick and stress-free measuring of the fish.

Vision Taimen Deluxe rods have a length of 12'2 (370 cm) and are available in class #12 and #14.
