Gamakatsu Akilas rods were designed to encourage the human instinct to hunting. The blank design allows you to fully enjoy the sense of speed, accuracy and sharpness of these rods. Using high-grade carbon materials and rod components we have managed to design a rod series that offers a perfect balance between light action, performance casting, secure hook setting and safe landing of toothy fish.

The Akilas XH blanks are powerful and strong. The Ex-fast tip action allows for casting bigger lures such as Swimbaits, big minnows and medium to large soft baits on a heavy jig head.
