The proprietary area of Steyr-Pichlern in Upper Austria ranges among the very best of fly fishing routes of Europe. The 3,7km long section of this fishing area comprises flowing- and impoundment sections as well as weir pools. The fish stock is dominated by the famous "Steyr grayling", brown- and rainbow trout, capital specimen are absolutely nothing unusual here.
This emerald-green river, approx. 40 m wide, makes it possible to do contemplative fishing from spring to autumn. The number of day- and weekly licenses is limited in order to maintain the high standard of this section.

- Flies: Tungsten & Beadhead nymphs, Peeping Caddis, Wooly Bugger, Dog Nobbler, Witch, Buck Caddis, Polyfitus
