The areas of the river Schwarza reach from its source at the Rohrersattel to the Entenstein in the Höllental. Part of the side brooks are managed as protective areas. The fishing areas (schwarza I - IV) have a total length of 62 km and a width of 9 - 20 m. There are four sections where fly fishing addicts are able to indulge in their self-realization. The fish stock of the river Schwarza consists of 70% of brown trout, 20% of graylings, 10% of rainbow trout. The fishing tackle admissible is the fly rod with artificial fly.
Day licenses are available from May 1st in limited number. Reservation very welcome.
For annual licenses the season starts on April 1st and ends on December 31st.
